K&L Gates Welcomes Two London Corporate Partners

March 8, 2010

London- Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added Carl L. Liederman and Keith Snedden as partners in its London corporate practice. Liederman joins K&L Gates from Arnold & Porter LLP, where he served as head of the European corporate group, while Snedden arrives from Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP, where he previously headed the firm’s corporate team.

An international corporate lawyer with significant experience in cross-border transactions, Liederman counsels on a wide range of corporate and transactional areas, including mergers and acquisitions, complex joint ventures, capital markets, and technology and outsourcing agreements. He has advised clients on matters throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa.

“K&L Gates offers an unparalleled platform for an international transactional lawyer,” stated Leiderman. “I have been extraordinarily impressed by the firm’s management, strategy, and remarkable expansion worldwide. I now can serve my clients across the globe, from London to Los Angeles, Pittsburgh to Paris, Washington to Warsaw, and San Francisco to Shanghai. I am honored to be a part of the firm.”

With a primary focus on corporate finance matters, Snedden assists clients in the financial services, information technology, engineering, health care and other sectors on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, take-overs, and equity offerings.

“K&L Gates’ international reach and strong corporate practice provide the ideal platform for me to service the transactional needs of my clients in all parts of the globe,” said Snedden. “I am delighted to join such a dynamic firm.”

Tony Griffiths, Administrative Partner of the firm’s London office, commented: “Both Carl and Keith’s considerable experience in dealing with pan-European, complex M&A assignments perfectly complement K&L Gates’ existing multinational corporate practice. We are pleased to welcome these two senior corporate partners.”

The arrival of Liederman and Snedden follows several other recent additions to K&L Gates’ London office, including antitrust and competition partner Scott S. Megregian in January and finance partner Stephen H. Moller last month. For more information about K&L Gates’ corporate practice, please visit the firm’s Web site.
